Visual pollution

I have lived in the Okanagan since 1996. I'll make a long story short.

I can't believe how gross the billboards look as you come and go between Kelowna and Westbank. We have a beautiful Skyline and would have an amazing unrestricted view of Kelowna.  But it's blocked by these ghetto billboards.

They belong along side a Los Angeles Highway, not here.

All the people and businesses that advertise on them should be ashamed, but instead they're all proud as punch. These Billboards are just a fancy version of graffiti.

I can't tell you how many times I've contemplated sneaking in there at night with a chainsaw and knocking them all over.  I don't know why the city hasn't outlawed them because of how it takes away from the city skyline.

It's visual pollution no different than air pollution or light pollution.
