The case of an alleged arson in Enderby last Nov. 27 has been shelved.
“Crown counsel did not approve charges in this matter,” said Jocelyn Noseworthy, RCMP spokesperson.
Officers arrested a 72-year-old man in connection with the nighttime blaze in a woodshed behind a residence in the 1600 block of George Street.
No one was injured but the shed was destroyed and there was some damage done to a nearby truck.
The man was arrested some time later but was not charged.
“The file is now concluded,” Noseworthy said.
