Don't wait on hold

Congratulations to Time Brokers for celebrating one year in business.

Michael Lavigne started helping people and businesses reduce their monthly bills by negotiating a discount with the providers. Time Brokers reviews your Internet, TV, and phone services, but watch out, more services will be added shortly.

If they can’t save you money, you don’t pay anything.

Don’t think I am just promoting my family’s business because Michael and I are not related, but I wish we were because he’s frickin awesome. No one cares about creating positive change in the world than him.

Time Brokers donates a good percentage of their revenue to the food bank. They also pay referral fees, but if you don’t want them, Michael will give them to charity, too.

Support him and your local food bank while you save yourself a lot of money and time.

Celebrate UN World Water Day and Canada's Water Week at the RiverBlue screening on March 22.

Creator David McIlvride is from Kelowna and he gives a big thanks to the Okanagan Basin Water Board and Okanagan WaterWise for sponsoring this screening.

RiverBlue uncovers how the fashion industry plays part in destroying our world's rivers.

This documentary is up for some impressive awards so make sure to purchase your tickets in advance because they are not available at the door.

Congratulations to Josh Szalay of Royal LePage for earning the Master Sales Award in his first year of business.

You won't find anyone who works harder then Josh. He has had multiple business successes and has all the right stuff to be successful in whatever he does.

Give him a call if you need help with your property.

"If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball."

Neel Dhatt, CEO of Techfire Solutions is hosting a 19 plus dodge-ball tournament this weekend in support of Mamas for Mamas.

Sixteen teams are fighting for bragging rights and a pretty awesome trophy tomorrow at Central Sports Club.  Go check it out.

Bryan Ruck just introduced me to Scott Hermanson’s food truck Burger Boss.

You can find it on Facebook under Hermco Street Food. The burger of the day yesterday was ridiculous and yes they have a Royale with Cheese.

Their burgers and fries all handmade, so you need to check them out.

Tickets are now on sale for the B.C. Bacon and Cider Festival. This event pairs 20 B.C. cideries with bacon dishes created by Okanagan Culinary Arts Students.

If you act quickly, you could probably get a ticket to DJ Jeff Haymakers Father Daughter Dance happening May 7.

This event is intended to strengthen relationships between fathers and daughters, aged three to 13, as well as provide an evening of all-out, crazy, whacky fun including dancing, games, contests, prizes, pizza, and more.

It's pretty awesome.

I do some curling while explaining how I make money work for you in this week's video blog.

Make it a great week!
