Police in Prince George are on the hunt for an “armed and dangerous” man who's charged with kidnapping and attempted murder.

The RCMP is seeking the public's help in finding 34-year-old Robert Clarke, who has a Canada-wide warrant out for his arrest.

He's facing charge of attempted murder, assault, kidnapping and other weapons offences.

The charges stem from an Aug. 23, 2016 incident in Moberly Lake, B.C.

Police describe Clarke as a 5-foot-10, 166 pound Caucasian man, with brown hair and a tattoo of an eagle on his upper right arm.

“The RCMP caution the public if sighted, do not attempt to apprehend Clarke and immediately call 911,” Cpl. Madonna Saunderson of the Prince George RCMP, said in a statement.
