Kamloops RCMP have arrested and charged a man in connection with a bank robbery in the city on Friday.
"After conducting an extensive investigation and receiving several tips from the public, Kamloops RCMP have identified, located, and arrested a 52-year-old male who is currently charged for the robbery at the TD Canada Trust Bank," Sgt. Darren Michels says in a press release.
The suspect is in custody and will make a court appearance today in Kamloops.
A man walked into the downtown TD Canada Trust on Victoria Street at 1:35 p.m. on Friday and "insinuated" he had a weapon. No one was injured during the robbery.
