Eating you Alive on tour

A health and nutrition documentary featuring a Penticton RCMP officer will be screening next week in Kelowna

“Eating You Alive” will be shown three times on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at the Kelowna Okanagan College Campus, one of several screenings in Western Canada ahead of its North American release later this year. There will be four screenings at TRU on Feb. 2.

The film highlights a whole-food plant-based lifestyle, with a pair of success stories coming from Cpl. Dan Moskaluk and his wife Sheanne.

Dan attributes his successful battle with terminal stage IV kidney cancer to his adoption of a WFPB lifestyle, noting his wife lost an incredible amount of weight on the same diet.

“Sheanne saw the result with an incredible weight loss of over 130 lbs, about five years ago,” he said. “She was up to 293 lbs. and knew that health problems were just around the corner for her. My nutrition was a big part of my healing strategy and seeing that I was given a terminal prognosis, there is little doubt as to why I‘m still alive”
