RCMP have updated the situation in and around Ben Lee Park in Rutland Wednesday evening.
Police say they were called to a complaint in the area of Franklyn Road and Hollywood Road shortly before 7 p.m.
The initial complaint suggested there was a confrontation with another male in the parking lot of Ben Lee Park.
As a result of further investigation, Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey said a search of the area was called off, and the file concluded. Police deemed there is no suspected risk to the public.

Castanet is receiving reports of a large police presence around Ben Lee Park in Kelowna.
According to unconfirmed witness accounts, RCMP have a perimeter set up around the area and are searching the Rutland neighbourhood.
They also have units on Houghton and Franklyn roads and may be looking for a suspect in the Hollywood Road area.
