Seven years ago Shawn Kisling took spreading warmth to heart. 

Every December, Kisling organizes a coat drive and delivers items, such as shirts, pants, snow gear, gloves, headwear, socks, shoes, boots and blankets to those in need. 

Kisling and his wife spend close to six hours on Christmas Eve distributing the clothing throughout Downtown Kelowna. 

"Every year it has gotten bigger and bigger," said Kisling. "Last year, I had almost 2,000 articles of clothing. I expect to top that this season." 

This year, Global Fitness, The Woman's Place Fitness and Oranj Fitness will have a hamper at their locations during December. 

"My plan is to focus on the Women's Shelter. As of recently, all donations that go to the shelter are accessible to 21 non-profit organizations throughout the Valley."

He's determined to top last year's donations.
