Kelowna

It's cold out there

Winter is breathing down our necks – and the icy breath won't be going away anytime soon.

Temperatures are expected to sit around -3 C in Kelowna, but it may feel like -8 because of the windchill.

Accompanying the cold, Kelowna residents will feel snow flakes falling on their heads off and on today.

Meanwhile, snow is causing trouble in Vancouver, where it normally falls in the form of rain instead.

Environment Canada released a snowfall warning, with up to five centimetres expected today.

Snow is forecast to hit again on Thursday.

As far as temperature is concerned, the low for the week will be around -7 C both Tuesday and Wednesday, but will feel like -12 C.
