Arrest in Greyhound groping

A man was arrested at the Kelowna Greyhound station Friday afternoon after allegedly groping a woman.

Police were called to station on Leckie Road at 4:30 p.m. after receiving a report of “unwanted sexual contact.

“The police investigation so far has revealed that the female victim was reportedly touched inappropriately by a male suspect unknown to her,” said Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey of the Kelowna RCMP in a statement.

The victim was not physically harmed during the incident.

The suspect faces potential charges after he was taken into custody at the station without incident.

Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
