Safe injection sites

I'm continually baffled at the absolute waste of money by Interior Health, but now they've raised their own bar on stupidity.
 
So now, instead of helping these people get off the drugs, we are going to give them a space to do the drugs; and provide the equipment for them to get high. Wonderful! That's like giving a murderer the tools and location to carry out the act as long as he brings the victim. 

I am disgusted!
 
And in Kelowna's downtown, an area city council has spent countless dollars on trying to revitalize and re-build, will now draw all of Kelowna's drug addicts. Clearly also a great way to draw visitors and locals to spend precious time and hard earned money in the area. 

For me, my family and friends, if this opens, we will - for our own safety and the safety of our children - never frequent the downtown area again. 

Parking downtown is already a nightmare for most. Now with a "get high" centre, I’m sorry but we are onto different locations.
