A toddler apparently took a walk alone on Eckhardt Avenue in Penticton last week.

After police responded to the incident, reported on Oct. 20, they found the mother who said she had fallen asleep and her daughter wandered out of the residence.

Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth said the incident was reported to the appropriate authorities and that this seems to be happening more often.
