Found just in time for Xmas

Kelowna Mounties are looking to reunite lost or stolen Christmas decorations with their rightful owner after they were abandoned on Bernard Avenue.

Police were contacted at nearly midnight on Oct. 23 after someone saw a young man stacking boxes, which were then abandoned in a parking stall outside an apartment in the 1200 block of Bernard Avenue.

Police found the contents of the boxes to be Christmas decorations, but were unable to find the man who was reportedly stacking the boxes.

Kelowna RCMP released a photo showing just a few of the items, with hopes the owner will recognize them and come forward.

One of the items is a snowman Christmas tree ornament with the names "Rod & Pam" and the year "2007" written on it.

The found property will be held for a period of 90 days, before it is either donated or destroyed.

If you are the owner of the decorations, and you can describe the unique items you are missing, you are asked to contact Const. George Minshull of the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
