Fright Night turned violent for a father attacked outside the PNE attraction over the weekend.
Bryan Busby had just parked outside the East Vancouver Halloween attraction when he says he was jumped from behind and punched in the face Saturday evening.
His girlfriend and step-daughter watched in horror as he suffered a serious injury to his left eye. Doctors are concerned he may lose vision in the eye permanently.
"Do we have to protect ourselves now when we go out, like carry mace with us?" Busby told CTV.
"I was screaming at him to get off like, ‘What are you doing, what are you doing? I was just in shock," said his girlfriend, Stephanie Frost.
The Vancouver Police department is investigating.
