Rollover at Stickle

UPDATE: 3:20 p.m.

RCMP in the North Okanagan say a woman driving a vehicle that flipped after a crash on Highway 97 this morning will survive.

The 41-year-old Rav4 driver swerved to avoid a black Ford F350 towing a large fifth-wheel trailer that was turning onto the Highway from Stickle Road. The two vehicles collided, then the Rav4 flipped.

Emergency crews had to free her from the vehicle.

She was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The occupants of the truck were not injured.
