Kelowna Hells Angel guilty

David Giles has been found guilty of conspiracy to import 200 kilograms of cocaine.

Vancouver Sun reporter Kim Bolan tweeted out the verdict Friday afternoon.

Giles and fellow Kelowna Hells Angel Brian Oldham, along with three associates, were on trial in B.C. Supreme Court in Vancouver.

Oldham was found guilty of possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, but not guilty on the conspiracy charge.

Giles and Oldham were arrested following a lengthy 20-month investigation dubbed E-Predicate.

The investigation involved Canadian, U.S., Mexican and Panamanian law enforcement agencies.

It netted about $4 million in alleged drug money.
