Firefighters rushed to Kelowna's Upper Mission just before noon in response to reports of a grass fire.

The fire turned out to be a hedge that was burning near Stanley Crescent and Sheila Crescent.

It was quickly doused once fire crews arrived on scene.

They are apparently cutting burned limbs off the remaining shrubs.
