Model and reality TV star Kylie Jenner is bouncing back from a nasty bout of food poisoning.

Kim Kardashian's little sister has apologised to fans and followers for a few down days on social media, explaining she didn't feel like posting anything.

The 19-year-old took to Snapchat late on Tuesday night (23Aug16) to explain why she's been a little out of sorts.

"I went to the doctor again because I had food poisoning over the weekend and it has not been fun," she told fans. "So that's why I've been a little MIA (missing in action) or if my Snapchats aren't as fun and exciting as they usually are."

"But I'm back in action," she added. "I just got my nails done today earlier. I'm about to get my eyebrows done."

Kylie admitted the food poisoning really left her feeling very sick - and she's still recovering from the after affects.

"Ugh, I don't look sexy right now at all," she grumbled, before assuring fans she would be back at her best on Wednesday (24Aug16), when she would reveal three new Kylie Cosmetics matte lipstick shades.

"I'm going to wait until tomorrow when there's daylight," she said, "so I can show you guys what the colours look like!"

Kylie celebrated turning 19 earlier this month (10Aug16) with a dachshund puppy, called Penny - a gift from the star's pals - and a black Mercedes-Benz Maybach present from boyfriend Tyga, who joined the star and her friends for a birthday vacation to Turks and Caicos.

In a video posted to Snapchat, Kylie filmed her new motor and gushed about the flashy gift, stating, "Happy early birthday to me... Yay! I love you, T."
