Focus on our debt first

I was born and have lived in Kelowna my whole life, and therefore a Canadian. 

I think that we need to focus on getting Canada out of debt, way before we need to bring and pay for anyone out of country. We as a country are $630+ billion in debt, but we shell out roughly $60,000 for people who just get here. 

That makes no sense to me. 

How about when we are out of debt then we be more "Canadian" and help people. We can't keep helping when we need help ourselves.
