If you're strolling the western portion of Mission Creek Greenway during the next few weeks, watch for equipment working in the area.

Crews with the Mission Creek Restoration Initiative project will be working along the south side of the creek between Casorso Road and Gordon Drive.

Workers are expected to begin the work Aug. 2. They will be there for about two weeks.

For their safety and that of the workers, Greenway users are asked to obey the instructions of flag people on site and stay out of closed work areas.

The north creek-side Greenway trail will remain open and is not affected by this ongoing work.
