Not always free parking

Having been a past resident of Lake Country (for 18 years) and attended many outdoor events in this community, I was saddened to read this response to the wonderful District of Lake Country. I have nothing but praise for the excellent choice of venues, musicians, and parking let alone being at lake-front seating (for most of them).

Now a resident of Kelowna, pay parking is something of the norm, but for a free concert/entertainment. I can handle it. Yes we have to walk many blocks, miles at times, but we didn't complain or get parking tickets for parking illegally.

Lake Country has done an excellent job of offering many different venues for entertainment, sports. etc.  Keep up the  good work.

It is disheartening that a new member/guest of the District of Lake Country has a poor taste, trust the many of us who have benefited and enjoyed this over the years, and will continue to attend and support such great community events.
