A person, who was extremely high on drugs broke into the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 40 on Martin Street, last week, according to the Penticton RCMP.

Rick Dellebuur, the community policing co-ordinator, said there were a lot of intoxicated people on the street and one individual smashed a window, entered the second floor and pulled the alarm.

The man was caught by officers at the scene and was released with a promise to appear.
