Stabbed multiple times

UPDATED: 4:45 p.m.

The owner of Sub City Donair called police after four people began fighting on the sidewalk outside of his business early Sunday morning. While he was on the phone with police, a customer came back in to tell him someone had been stabbed.

"That's when I said, 'you guys better get an ambulance here too,'" Mike Haidar said.

Haidar says the man responsible for the stabbing "kind of took off" after the assault, but police eventually caught him.

The victim remained at the scene.

"The cops were here within a minute," Haidar said.
