Bear tears through kitchen

A bear on the Sunshine Coast may have been looking to enact some revenge for the infamous Goldilocks incident when it broke into woman's kitchen.

Gina Wood walked into her kitchen in Lund, B.C., on Monday to find a bear looking for snacks.

While Goldilocks was known to be quite picky during her break and enter, this bear appears to have broader tastes.

“(It) took a bite out of a tomato… apparently felt it needed some salt, attempted to use the salt grinder with his teeth… had some almonds and a bag of coconut sugar and washed it all down with the bowl of dog water,” wrote Gina Wood in a Facebook post.

Being a bit of a prolific offender, the bear returned three days later to grab anything it may have missed.

“For those of you who didn't believe my story the other day… we now have photographic evidence ...‪ #‎lundproblems,” wrote Wood on May 26.

The mischievous bear wasn’t just content eating Wood’s food, spreading a mess throughout the kitchen.

The bear escaped the scene and remains on the lam.
