On the wagon in Mexico

A West Kelowna couple will be leading the charge this winter in Mexico, hosting RV tours as "wagon-masters."

Jim and Debbie Harris are extensive travellers who have vacationed throughout Canada, U.S., Mexico, Central America, South America, Southeast Asia and Australia.

They will be working with Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours, where they will be showing off their knowledge of the Baja Peninsula to those looking for an RV adventure.

Baja Amigos has been operating for the past eight years and has led 35 RV tours in the area.

The Harrises took a tour with the company last fall and decided they wanted to get on board.

“We really look forward to introducing other RVers to this magnificent peninsula and are keen to assume our role as wagon-masters for Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours,” Debbie said.

A "wagon-master" leads the RV tour as a tour guide, showing off all that the peninsula has to offer.

“We are excited that Jim and Debbie have joined our Baja Amigos team,” said Lisa Goy, vice-president. “Their love for Mexico and years involved in tourism and travel makes them a good fit to lead RV caravans for Baja Amigos.”

Jim and Debbie own and operate Uncorked Wine Tours in the Okanagan out of West Kelowna.
