Urban sells out fast

The Okanagan loves Keith Urban.

The country rocker's upcoming concert at Kelowna's Prospera Place sold out in less than an hour.

"This show sold out quicker than any other we have ever had,” said Dave Dakers, president of RG Sports and Entertainment, the company that manages the stadium.

Tickets went on sale today at 10 a.m., and Prospera events and marketing manager Sean Bianchini issued a press release at 10:45 saying they were all gone.

Urban is set to perform in Kelowna on Sept. 11.

Additional tickets may be available in coming months, once the final production is settled.

“We are excited about bringing another great show to Kelowna. This follows a year of sellout shows in 2015, such as Aerosmith, Jason Aldean, and Shania Twain," said Dakers.

Urban is travelling on his ripCORD World Tour with Dallas Smith and special guest Maren Morris.
