Two local home audio companies have become one after Kelowna Custom Audio Video recently bought out Beyond Audio.

Ryan Dockrill, with Kelowna Custom Audio Video, says Beyond Audio was their biggest competitor before the acquisition.

“We decided to buy them out and put both the forces together,” Dockrill said.

The two companies will work independently for the time being, but all the employees will work for both.

“Now we have more experience, more guys, and more customers,” Dockrill said. “The only difference now is there’s going to be more product lines to choose from, more talent, more staff, we’ll be able to get to people quicker.”
