The incident at the Surrey residence ended peacefully Thursday afternoon.
Several people inside the residence were detained after police received reports of a gun inside.
160th Street has now been reopened.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Surrey RCMP are at a residence in the 9700 block of 160th Street after receiving a report of a person with a gun at the home.
Police surrounded the house at 2:50 p.m.
While the nearby North Surrey Secondary was locked down earlier as a precaution, the lockdown has since been lifted.
160th Street is closed to traffic between 96th and 98th Avenue.

North Surrey Secondary School is on lockdown as police investigate a weapons call in the area.
The school initiated the lockdown on a request from RCMP, as they investigated a home on 160th Street.
Police said the lockdown is a precaution.
Little information has been released by police. However, footage from CTV's Chopper 9 shows seven people in handcuffs on the sidewalk across from the school.
About 20 police cars and one ambulance could be seen in the area.
