Taylor Kinney proud of Gaga

Taylor Kinney "couldn't be more proud" of Lady Gaga.

The 'Chicago Fire' actor watched this year's Super Bowl on TV and was very impressed by his fiancée's rendition of the US national anthem, 'The Star-Spangled Banner'.

Joking he was thinking of "chips and dip" during her performance, Taylor then backtracked and told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "No, I think she was brilliant...

"I was just excited to see her get up there, and I wanted to see her come across, and put out there and sing a song that she had prepared without any hiccups, and I think she really did it. She nailed it, and I couldn't be more proud."

The 34-year-old actor took particular pleasure in seeing the 29-year-old singer sing at the Super Bowl because he knew she felt at "home" there.

Speaking to US Weekly magazine, Taylor said: "Where she's most at home, is on a stage...

"To see her there on the biggest one -- I enjoyed it probably as much as everybody else. Yeah!"

The pair were engaged last Valentine's Day (02.14.15) and Taylor hopes amongst busy work schedules that he'll be able to make this Valentine's another memorable occasion.

He said:"Hopefully, we'll get to spend some time together and we'll figure that out, but I'm not giving away any secrets!"
