A B.C.-based conservation organization is hoping a message read from the air will deter the province's next planned wolf cull. The Wildlife Defence League took to the South Selkirk to send the message “stop killing wolves” in huge, black letters.
In the South Selkirk and South Peace regions, the provincial government aims to kill 200 wolves, primarily via helicopters, to protect a declining caribou population.
