  • A B.C. man is among the injured in a suicide car bombing in Afghanistan. William Salikin of Grand Forks was one of three Canadian soldiers wounded, as a convoy moving near the Canadian base in Kandahar was targeted.CKNW News

  • A 3.9 Magnitude earthquake this morning has people in Victoria a little shook up. The quake hit around 4:30 AM, just 20 km northwest of Victoria. Seismologist Gary Rogers with the Pacific Geoscience Centre says a quake of this size is usually felt for about a hundred kilometre radius.News 1130

  • A 24 year old Port Coquitlam man claims staff at a Whistler nightclub tied up his wrists behind his back and beat him unconscious.
    Phil Stuart says the altercation happened last weekend at Garfinkel's nightclub.CKNW News
