Wedged in motorhome

It took four firefighters to rescue a very embarrassed man who was stuck in his motorhome, Sunday.

Enderby fire crews came to the rescue at at the Quilakwa RV Park after being called about 5:25 p.m.

"An older gentleman was stuck," said Kevin Alstad, Enderby fire chief. "He had been climbing into a side compartment to pull out a fuse when he became wedged in."

It took four of us to grab on to him and give a good pull."

The whole incident lasted about three minutes, said Alstad.

The man who was "fairly large," according to the fire chief, and did not appear to be hurt, although an ambulance crew was on hand to look him over.

"It was more embarrassing for him than anything else," said Alstad, who admitted it was one of the more peculiar incidents he's been called out to.
