Evacuation order lifted

The evacuation order due to the Testalinden Creek Wildfire has been rescinded for 27 properties and homes in the upper Fairview Road area, west of Oliver.

Residents can now go back to their homes and access their properties but these properties remain under evacuation alert.

The total number of properties or homes remaining under evacuation alert due to the Testalinden Creek Wildfire has been reduced from 285 to 180.

This reduction of the evacuation alert area is due to the fire moving north away from homes in the rural areas west of Osoyoos.

Homes and properties south of Testalinden Creek have been removed from evacuation alert.

All homes and properties within the existing evacuation alert area north of Testalinden Creek and west of Oliver remain under evacuation alert area has been attached.
