CRIME: BREAK AND ENTER - COMMERCIAL

DATE: July 22, 2015

RCMP FILE: 2015-38799

A break and enter occurrence was reported to the West Kelowna RCMP Detachment on July 22nd regarding a theft that had occurred overnight. Suspects had entered the secure premises of a construction material company on the 2700 block of Auburn Road, entered the shop and left with a significant amount of power tools. This was the third theft in as many weeks. The stolen tools include seven impact drills (Dewalt and Makita), twenty power tool batteries and nine battery chargers.

CRIME: THEFT OF TRUCK

DATE: July 17, 2015

RCMP FILE: 2015-37580

Sometime between 8:00 p.m and midnight on July 16th a truck was stolen from the driveway of a home on the 3800 block of Dunsfield Road in West Kelowna. The truck is a burgundy 2005 Ford F350 with BC licence plate number HK9077 and VIN number 1FTWW31P65EB46340. The diesel truck is outfitted with an 8” lift kit, 37” oversized tires, a chrome exhaust tip and a big green “Monster” energy drink sticker in the back window.
