The sentencing of a Summerland businessman who pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation earlier this year continues to be delayed.
Tyrone Duerr, the lawyer for Joshua James Roberts, told Penticton court on Wednesday that pre-sentence and psychiatric assessment reports were requested, but he hasn't seen them yet.
Roberts, 38, pleaded guilty to the exploitation charge in March. It is related to a relationship he had with a teenage girl between Sept. 15, 2012, and Aug. 15, 2013.
Duerr said at the time, Roberts had been a person in a position of trust, who touched that person for sexual purposes.
Other charges Roberts was facing, including child luring, possession of child pornography, invitation to sexual touching and assault with a weapon, were stayed.
Roberts was originally arrested by RCMP last October.
The matter is going to the judicial case manager to fix a date for the sentencing.
