UPDATE 3:15 P.M.

Highway 97C is now clear near Loon Lake, and all lanes are back open after a accident earlier this afternoon. 

ORIGINAL 3:00 P.M.

A multi-vehicle accident has traffic slowed down on the Connector.

According to DriveBC, lane closures are in effect in both directions near the Loon Lake turn off.

The highway was closed in both directions shortly after the accident, but the highway has now partially reopened.

There are limited details on the accident itself, but witnesses report an air ambulance was brought in.
