A couple of treats

A little while ago I mentioned that “House Of Lords” are about to unleash a brand new album…” Indestructible”.  I also mentioned that touring plans are underway to see this enduring group hit stages all across the globe!  In fact, they started at the second annual Frontiers Rock Festival in Italy, (more on that next column).  This release showcases both the harder side of “House Of Lords”, without sacrificing their more melodious leanings.  Eleven new epic journeys will appear on “Indestructible” released in June.

After these guys went back to the Original lineup, Trixter released a very important album—“New Audio Machine”, and at the time-below is my assessment:

Trixter: “New Audio Machine” : Frontiers Records

Well!?, do you want some good ol’ Hard Rock!!...You got it with Trixter’s “New Audio Machine”.

The original lineup of this New Jersey quartet have been rocking it out since their 2007 reunion—and it shows!

“New Audio Machine” brings back all of those raucous sounds Trixter let loose the first time around.  The years between 1983 and now seem to have evaporated—the group sounds just as energised and fresh as twenty some years ago!  Opening with the rockin’ “Drag Me Down” and ending off with the high energy of “Walk With A Stranger”—‘New Audio Machine’ is just that; churning out a steady stream of no-nonsense, powerful rockers that will find you doing the ‘hard-rock shuffle’…feet amovin’! & fists a pumping!!  Full of hard hitting rock, melodic vocals and fantastic harmonies---this hook laden return shines ever so brightly.

Trixter are back!—and with a brand new V-12 fuel injected engine that keeps pounding out those anthemic rockers that we are in such dire need of!  “New Audio Machine”—it just may save your rock n’ roll soul!

So, now it is time for this hard working and hard rocking group to prove that “New Audio Machine” was no fluke!  They are about to release “Human Era”, and let me be the first to tell you, this collection of new, and original songs will surpass what we heard on their last record.  And like the veteran rockers they are, this Summer will see the original line-up tread those stages all across North America!

Now, next week we will look at the second annual Frontiers Rock Festival.  It is a true sign that a record label cares about their Artists and their music when it takes the time, money and effort to offer up opportunities for those Artists to have a place to showcase their music in a live situation.  This is beyond the occasional tour support—this is when a label puts together an actual multi-day Music Festival.  One that is fully funded by the label!  I know of two labels that have done this: Rocktopia and Frontiers.  Next week’s column will be on the Frontiers Rock Festival, which took place in Italy, just a couple of weeks ago!  Artists signed to Frontiers were obviously there, and others not aligned to Frontiers, plus a few surprises as well!  Until next week—keep supporting our Kelowna musical Artists…Cheers to all!!
