Jordan Dean - Lake Country Open Mic Has Talent 2015 winner

The Lake Country Open Mic Has Talent “TOP 5” event on April 17th was quite a night for original singers and songwriters from the Okanagan!  Performances from Madeleine and Abbey Ertel, Michael Painchaud, Bob's Brown Shoes, Jordan Dean, and Ben Klick were met with unquestionable appreciation from the audience.     

“The night began with original songs from our renowned adjudicator and artist, Andrew Smith." said organizer Jennifer Boal.  “He set the stage with an amazing performance!” 

After hearing an impressive array of talented musicians, the judges were challenged with determining the winner of the contest.  To the delight of the Top 5 musicians, Aaron Gordon, the winner of the competition in 2014 and adjudicator of the competition this year, announced that he would offer every one of these musicians a performing opportunity on the Emerging Artists stage at the IPE! 

Jordan Dean was then announced as the Lake Country Open Mic Has Talent 2015 winner!  Jordan's sincere country songs, voice, and charisma won over the audience and the judges.  As the winner, Jordan receives a multitude of performance opportunities through Lake Country's Open Air and ArtWalk, Kelowna's Parks Alive, Penticton Festivals, and the Armstrong IPE.  As well, recording studio time with DMA Studios is included in the prize package.
