Gisele Bundchen was "deeply touched" by the outpouring of love following her retirement from the runway.
The 34-year-old supermodel posted a touching message to her friends and fans who had congratulated her on her amazing career.
Captioning a collage of photographs of her with friends, she wrote: "I want to thank all my fans from all over the world and also everyone who left kind, loving and supportive messages.
"I am deeply touched. I love you all, thank you for making this day even more special (sic)"
Gisele's husband Tom Brady - with whom she has Benjamin, five, and Vivian, two - previously took to Facebook to tell the "love of my life" how "proud" he was of her as she took to the catwalk for the final time at Sao Paulo Fashion Week on Wednesday (04.15.15).
He wrote: "Congratulations Love of my Life. You inspire me every day to be a better person. I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished on the runway. I have never met someone with more of a will to succeed and determination to overcome any obstacle in the way.
"You never cease to amaze me. Nobody loves life more than you and your beauty runs much deeper than what the eye can see. I can't wait to see what's next. I love you. #GOAT #thebestisyettocome (sic)"
