A man was rushed to hospital after crashing his van into several objects including other vehicles on Monday morning.
According to police the driver of the van rear ended a white van near Harvey and Spall, accelerated into a tree and then side swiped a truck before coming to rest on the grass median beside the Main Street Centre on Vaslie road.
A branch from the tree smashed through the windshield of the green Mitsubishi, which is a right-hand-drive vehicle.
The van was badly damaged in the crash and the right front tire was also punctured.
Police believe the man may have been suffering from a medical condition at the time.
The occupants of the other vehicles are not believed to be injured.
