Having given up almost five goals a game, Tuesday’s loss to the visiting Princeton Posse was something of a victory for the Kelowna Chiefs.
In their best defensive game of the Kootenay International Junior B Hockey League season, the Chiefs held the surging Posse to 21 shots and only four in the third period, but still fell 2-1 and dropped their eighth game in 14 starts. It was their fifth loss by a one-goal margin.
