Jost, Finlay Lead BCHL Vees

At the same time the Cromie Memorial Trophy was on display at the CNC on Saturday, Tyson Jost and Liam Finlay were in Chilliwack showing how they played a huge part in the Okanagan Rockets winning the B.C. Major Midget Hockey League championship silverware last spring.

Jost, the BCMMHL scoring champion with 44 goals and 44 assists in 36 games for the Rockets, scored three times to lead his new team, the Penticton Vees, to a 4-3 win over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. Liam Finlay, his linemate last year and this, helped set up two of the goals in the Vees’ second straight victory to open the B.C. Hockey League season at the Bauer BCHL Showcase .
