CRIME: THEFT/FRAUD

DATE: August 25, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-48105

Kelowna RCMP are looking to identify the suspect shown in the photos. Video surveillance indicates the man entered a condominium building on the 400 block of West Avenue just after 11 PM on August 24th and smashed into two trucks located in the secure underground parking. A wallet and approximately $250 in cash were taken from one truck and a Canon camera with multiple lenses was taken from another. Before the wallet’s credit cards were cancelled, the suspect made two separate purchases at the Mission Park Save-On Foods. The young male suspect was wearing a black Chicago Bulls ball cap, black sweat pants and a grey hoodie.

CRIME: ROBBERY

DATE: August 26, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-48449

RCMP are looking for the man who robbed the Dilworth Drive Scotia Bank just after 3 PM on August 26th. The robber entered the bank wearing a mask and demanded money. He dispensed bear spray before exiting with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police Dog Services were unsuccessful in tracking the suspect. The man is described as approximately 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, medium build, tanned complexion and was wearing a grey hoodie, black balaclava and black gloves.
