Three people have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Rutland Tuesday evening.
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of McCurdy Road and Rutland Road.
An RCMP officer at the scene says a four door Nissan sedan with three occupants was travelling eastbound on McCurdy, when it was struck by a large black Ford truck.
The truck was travelling westbound on McCurdy and was attempting a left hand turn onto Rutland Road, when it crashed into the Nissan’s driver side door.
The driver of the car was placed onto a stretcher and loaded into a waiting ambulance.
The driver of the truck was seen taking a breathalyzer test. He was then placed in the back of a police car and taken away.
