CRIME: THEFT OF QUAD

DATE: April 13, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-18237

The owner of a stolen side by side quad called Kelowna RCMP to report its theft on Sunday April 13th. The quad had been left inoperable in the Postill Lake Road area due to some front end tire damage. When the owner returned to pick it up, the quad had disappeared. Thieves would have needed a truck to remove it from the area. The quad was a yellow 2011 Canam Commander with VIN 3JBKGCP13BJ000180.

CRIME: RESIDENTIAL BREAK AND ENTER

DATE: April 11, 2014

RCMP FILE: 2014-17872

A break in occurred at a residence on the 3300 block of Wildwood Road in Kelowna between 7:00 am and 3:45 PM on Friday, April 11th. Suspects entered through a rear sliding glass door, accessed a liquor cabinet, taking several bottles then focused on the master bedroom. They stole 3 pairs of running shoes, some jeans and a significant amount of expensive men’s jewellery. Jewellery items include 7 men’s watches, gold and silver rings, cuff links, a 1910 antique gold pocket watch and some Cuban cigars. They also left with a Cannondale road bike equipped with triathlon bars and a GPS/timer unit on it.
