Does it mean that what you're doing isn't worthy? NO.
Does it mean that they're right to not believe in you? NO.
Does it mean that you should stop following your heart? NO.
Does it mean that you should make yourself smaller to match them? NO.
Does it mean that you're wrong about yourself? NO.
Does it mean that they know something you don't? NO.
Does it mean that you should feel badly about yourself? NO.
Does it mean that you should feel less than? NO.
Does it mean that you don't have enough education, experience, smarts? NO.
Does it mean that their lack of support has anything to do with you? NO.
Does it mean that you should feel badly about them? NO.
Does it mean that this should slow you down? NO.
Does it mean that this should stop you? NO.
Does it mean that you should reconsider taking your next steps? NO.
Does it mean that you need them to go forward? NO.
Does it mean that you aren't worthy? NO.
Does it mean that you should give their opinion any energy? NO.
Does it mean that they don't love you? NO.
Does it mean that you shouldn't go forward with full-on optimism and excitement? NO.
Does it mean that you should pull back? NO.
Does it mean that you should honor them by stopping yourself? NO.
Does it mean that you should validate their reality about you? NO.
Does it mean that they're the one with the education and so you should listen to them? NO.
Does it mean that you should give up your dream? NO. NO. A THOUSAND TIMES NO!!!
Here's the truth. I've had plenty of people who were very close to me that NEVER were enthusiastic about my successes.
In fact, the very palpable feeling was 'Really? You're going to do that? That many people listen to you? Are you sure? How do you know?' Not necessarily all in the same sentence and not necessarily were any words said but body language accounts for a lot, right?
Have I let that slow me down in the past - YES. Will I continue to let that slow me down - NO. At least not if I'm aware of it. How do I make sure I'm aware of being slowed down? By addressing and clearing any limiting belief, conclusion or story I become aware of.
If I'm having a negative or limiting thought - if I feel badly about anything or am avoiding taking action on something - it's ALWAYS because there is a limiting belief acting itself out.
What do I do specifically? I'll say the Smarter, Faster Clearing Statement - 'Everything that brings up, will I destroy and uncreate? Yes. De-story, Transform, Release' and I'll keep clearing until it feels lighter in my body.
In fact, for everyone of those statements above, you can clear on each of them and any of the negative feelings that come up for you. Keep clearing until they have no charge for you. You'll know because you'll feel better.
From there - start doing your Questfirmations...
Why did success come so easy to me?! How awesome is it that I'm so successful now?

A couple of weeks ago, sitting in my bubble (otherwise known as sitting in my Mini) down at the beach I had an epiphany.
What the heck is that, Karen? I can hear you saying that, you know!
Good question!! In fact, EXACTLY!! Okay, I'm still excited about it.
1. to put a question to; inquire of: I asked him but he didn't answer.
You can't ask with out it being a question. When you ask you set into motion all kinds of things. You're giving your mind a command to start looking for an answer. Our subconscious has access to over 400 billion bits of information in every second - that's a whole lot of access to a ton information.
The other thing you automatically set into motion is the Universe (God, Source Energy, Higher Self, All that Is, etc.) being able to contribute to you.
So all in all, most questions are good. Yes, there are questions that aren't so good but that's for another day. One of the main tasks I get my private clients to do for themselves in order to allow them to progress to their next level is to have them ask questions - all the time. This one thing alone has made a huge difference in their lives.
But there can be limitations to some questions and that's what got me thinking when I was down at the beach. If I'm always asking questions like 'what would it take for 'x' to show up?' it implies that 'x' isn't here. If I'm putting out the energy of 'x' isn't here to the Universe - what will the Universe do? It will comply and 'x' remains elusive. The energy of the state the question puts me in attracts. If we want to attract what we want - we MUST be in the same energy state as what we want.
Now this doesn't mean that particular question is not useful - it is. When you ask that question - your mind will automatically go to work to find an answer or rather, what the next steps are that you can take. All good stuff.
And then it came to me, I recently had attended a Livestream of a John Assaraf workshop and they talked about affirmations and the absolute usefulness of them and I suddenly thought - what if I could put a question and an affirmation together?!! (seriously, this was an epiphany!)
Now I know affirmations work....eventually. In fact, if you already have somewhat of a belief in whatever you're affirming - they work quite well. But if you don't believe what you're affirming like 'I am very wealthy' or 'I am fit and thin' and you're not - well, I don't know about you but for me, The Voice starts beaking off at me. You know, it'll immediately say 'no you're not!'
But what if we could bypass that voice? What if we could say 'How great is it that I'm now so wealthy?' or 'How awesome is it that it was so easy for me to lose 20 pounds?'
Different feeling, hey?
I was so excited about the difference in the feeling compared to the affirmation or asking 'what would it take?' questions.
Asking questions like 'How fabulous is it...?' or "How amazing is it....? automatically presuppose that what you're asking is already a fact. Remember, it's all about the energy you're putting out. Like attracts like, right? The cool thing about this is you can automatically feel this in your body.
If it's light - it's right.
Compare this to making an affirmation about something that isn't currently true for you - notice how that feels in your body. Notice what else is coming up for you - do you hear The Voice? Is it being supportive or is it telling you to not get your hopes up? (Yes, I imagine that was the lighter version of what you just heard The Voice say.)
From there - I made up the word 'Questfirmation' - an affirmation in the form of a question. Of course, I immediately Googled it and saw that someone had the domain name and had written a blog post about it last year but I'd never heard of it before this so - I'm going with it.
Here's some Questfirmations for you to try:
- How great is it that I've doubled my income this year?
- How amazing is it that money just flows into my bank account?
- How fabulous is it that I get to spend time with the love of my life?
- How crazy is it that everyone I come in contact with is fun, happy and interesting?
- How wonderful is it that I have such a loving family?
- How awesome is it that I got that promotion at work?
- How delightful is it that me and my co-workers get along so well and accomplish so much together?
- How beautiful is that we have the best customers/clients?
- How incredible is it that customers flock to buy my programs/services/products?
- How unbelievable is it that my sales keep growing exponentially?
- How fantastic is it that it was so easy to lose 20 pounds?
- How surprising is it that I look and feel so young?
You get the gist, I could obviously go on and on (and I will - I'm writing a book now about this!!) but these or any kind of a modification of these will work. Just create them as if it's already happened.
Like anything, what you want isn't going to fall out of the sky and drop in your lap after you say a Questfirmation. What the Questfirmation does is put you into a different state so you automatically put your brain and the Universe to work to show you when opportunities that can make these things happen show up.
It also puts you into a state where your likelihood of taking different actions will happen which puts you in the path of what you want.
Try them out and let me know what happens for you, okay?! I would love to see you when I’m speaking at the upcoming Okanagan Valley Entrepreneur Society ‘Unleashing Ideas’ Conference on November 21st-22nd, see you there!

The fog started early this year. We live in a beautiful gem of a place and every fall and winter a layer of cloud and fog can descend upon the residents. It's a result of a temperature inversion and other cool meteorological events.
What I always find fascinating is that it can feel so blah and heavy yet the bright light of the sun is really close. Sometimes the sun can peak through a thin spot and tease us with the hope of a sunshiny day and some warmth.
Here's the thing, the sun is always there (well, except at night for you smart alecs who were thinking that - lol). It's always there. On the other side of the clouds (or on the other side of the world). Always. Always.
What if you could look at your life like that? What if the sun in this instance represents the great life that you want? The possibility of it is always there. Always. Always.
Every day, there is a new possibility. Heck, every moment there is a new possibility.
Right now, a heavy fog is rolling past my window - yet off in the near distance I can see a patch of forest that's sunlit. If I look the other way - the forest is socked in.
How easy is it to get bogged down in the fog? We can look outside and think 'what a dreary day'. And, if I only chose to look out one way - I'd never see the light. The promise of heat. We get sucked in to the negative thought of the dreariness that fog seems to bring. We block ourselves off from thinking different thoughts about it. The predominant story that is created is that fog is heavy and dreary and sometimes dangerous. (Yes, I am aware that some people don't share this story.)
That's what we do in our life. We create a story that things aren't going well (we're stuck in a thick fog) and because we can't see a way out of it - it becomes our reality. If we keep our focus on our reality as it is in this moment - the way the Universe works is that it replicates the energy of the story we're putting out. Therefore, we keep getting the same unwanted results (fog) over and over again. We forget that an abundance of what we want exists - it's always there - just like the sun on the other side of the fog.
Abraham-Hicks is famous for saying, 'the better it gets, the better it gets and the worse it gets, the worse it gets.' And, it's true because of the energy of focus that we have keeps recreating 'good' or 'bad'.
How do we change it? Change your story. Clear it out. Change your energy and focus and you'll start getting clues or awarenesses that what you want DOES exist and it's very close. When you pay attention to those awarenesses that come up, you'll be inspired just as we are when we see those glimpses of sunlight as it breaks through the fog.
You changing your story is like that little thin area in the cloud where the sun can break through to the ground and start warming it up. Clearing out your old story and changing your energy and focus is like the ground warming up - which then breaks up the fog even more so more and more sunlight can stream through and warm up more ground which vaporizes the fog completely.
Soon you have bright blue skies and anything seems possible.
Remember, what you want is always there. You just have a story (or belief, or point of view, or conclusion) that is blocking you from having everything you desire.
How cool will it be for you to start creating the work and life you deserve?
Best of everything to you!

When I started my business I believed in overnight success. As a Law of Attraction practitioner I absolutely know that quantum leaps can happen in a moment. I have seen it happen more times than I can tell you.
Sustainable success seems to happen over longer periods of time. Makes sense, hence 'sustainable'. But what I really mean is that the people I see that are the icons in every facet of life kept following their dream for years without the accolades they now have.
Do you have that tenacity to follow your dream for years without actually seeing the success you KNOW is there?
Last night Geoff and I had the immense pleasure of hearing Colonel Chris Hadfield, former Commander of the International Space Station speak. If you ever get a chance to hear him - do. He was captivating and delightful all at the same time. (If you don't know who Col. Hadfield is - he's the one who tweeted out his pictures of the Earth from the Space Station and oh yeah, the guy who sang David Bowie's 'Space Oddity' and now has over 18 million views on YouTube!) He made Space cool again.
Col. Hadfield had a goal as a child to become an astronaut. I mean really, who didn't in the 60's? The difference was that he followed the path (the energy) that could most likely take him there. He joined the Air Cadets, learned to fly, learned a second language and became an engineer.
I say 'most likely' because he's Canadian and we didn't have astronauts back then. There was no space program. No training program. No Moon initiative. No need for astronauts.
Luckily, he saw the ad in the paper (only in Canada!) looking for people who wanted to become astronauts. He applied and the rest is history.
He also learned to speak Russian and lived in and out of Russia for the last 20 years. You can see that he took the easy path in life, right? I'm kidding, lol.
So what am I getting at? It took this man 23 years from the inception of his dream until the real opportunity came for him to actually become an astronaut. Another 3 years after that - he was in Space.
Who has that kind of drive?!! The willingness to stay on a path that doesn't seem to exist FOR TWENTY-THREE YEARS?
Often, I get people coming to me saying 'this Law of Attraction stuff doesn't work'. They tried it for awhile and it didn't work. Now, I get it, people read some books, watch 'The Secret' and there is some belief that you can just meditate on your couch and voilà - cool stuff shows up. Ask, Believe, Receive, right?
You know what, sometimes that happens but that's really not what Law of Attraction is all about. Ask, Believe, Receive - yes - but with more information interjected into that along with ACTION.
Col. Hadfield believed without seeing. Most people live by the motto, 'I'll believe when I see it." Hadfield took action while believing and without seeing.
Often the hardest part is believing because we have so many stories that counteract what we'd like to believe. 'Sure,' one might say, 'I believe it can happen and in the meantime, I'm going to try to prove it.'
This has the energy of 'I would like to believe it but I'm not sure and I don't want to look like a fool so I'm going to see if this stuff actually works and I really hope it does because that would be cool!'.
Which actually means to the Universe - I 'kind of' don't believe it. What results would we expect to get back if the Universe is a mirror? Results that 'kind of' indicate that it works sometimes and not others.
What's the solution? Watch the video 'Dangerous Trends' - it's just over 20 minutes long and I outline some very specific steps you can take to make sure that Law of Attraction works for you more consistently.
Here's the bottom line - when you use the Law of Attraction to your fullest capability - shifts occur and often instantly. For the bigger, more elusive desires that don't seem to come as instantly - like Col. Hadfield - against all odds, you have to faith (belief), take action (follow the energy) and shift your limiting beliefs and stories (clear the stuck energy).
How cool will it be for you to start creating the business and life you deserve?
