Lugnut and Chestnut came to the BC SPCA because they were the result of an unplanned litter and their previous owner couldn't find homes for them.
Adopting a puppy is a big decision (and life-long commitment to the dog!). Before taking the plunge, it is a good idea to research breeds, training techniques etc and should include all members of the family. The time it takes in the beginning (house training, chewing, waking you up at night, training, socializing) more than pays itself back when your uncontrolled mass of energy grows to be an invaluable member of the family.
