Neo is looking for his next adventure buddy! He is a playful, goofy boy, that could play fetch all day. Neo can be a little nervous about meeting new people but once he warms up he is a total love bug. He is a VERY STRONG and energetic dog that will require proper exercise and mental stimulation. Neo does have food allergies, he requires daily medication and a special diet.
Neo would like to be the only pet in the home in his future home. While in care Neo has been slowly making some K9 friends! However, he can be dog selective and reactive towards most dogs. So he requires a guardian that is comfortable managing this and making sure Neo has slow and proper introductions with respectful dogs. Once properly introduced Neo loves to wrestle and plays rough. We are unsure how Neo would do with other small animals (i.e chickens, cats) so his new guardian(s) will need to have a plan in place in case Neo does not respond positively in the home environment. Going to formal obedience classes would definitely be a good thing, not only for the learning but it is a good bonding opportunity for his new guardian
A behavior counseling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal to ensure success.
