"Hello Dear!" - Mrs Doubtfire
We don't know much about Mrs Doubtfire's history or her exact age unfortunately, just that she's a sweet, young dwarf rabbit who has lots of energy and pizzazz. She's curious and likes to explore her enclosure - especially to search for treats! We often see her perched in the window, keeping an eye on the reception area, or doing zoomies all over her enclosure. She is good about using her litter box, and very tidy and clean overall except when she likes to dig through her box and throw stuff around. She would likely get along with another rabbit or other furry friend with proper, slow introductions.
Rabbits require special housing, diet, and care. Adopters will need to show knowledge of this to help Mrs Doubtfire have a happy and healthy life.
An adoption counseling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal.
Do you think you could be Mrs Doubtfire's person? Here are some ways to find out:
1. Visit our centre to meet this pet, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or
2. Fill out our rabbit adoption application https://spca.bc.ca/wp-content/uploads/BC_SPCA_Rabbit_Matching_Survey.pdf, and email it to [email protected] Staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit!
***Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, we will only be contacting potential adopters to further review their interest. We are not able to contact all applicants***
