Female Cat
Breed: Domestic Longhair Cross
Second Breed: Maine Coon
Adult - 7Yrs (approx)
Colour: Brown Tabby / None
Penelope is a beautiful Maine Coon cross Cat who came in as a Stray. We found out after a few months of having her, that the person who brought her in as a stray, actually owned her. After receiving vet records for Penelope, we found out she was Spayed ( we had to spay check her, which included cutting her open, as we didn't know she was already spayed ) And she had previously suffered from bladder health issues. Penelope hid a lot and was a bit grumpy. After getting her old vet records, we booked her in immediately to see a vet, and it turned out she had stones, and would require surgery. Since her surgery, Penelope is a completely different cat! She is very affectionate, and sweet. Loves being pet, and is no longer hiding ( as she was hurting ) in her kennel! Penelope will require special bladder health food from the vet, and regular check ups at the vet. She went through so much here at the shelter, things that we could of prevented/helped with had the owner just been honest with us! If you are interested in giving this sweetheart a home for LIFE! Please inquire!
